About Encourage Chiropractic
Encourage Chiropractic was founded in June 2023 with a clear intention: provide structured, movement-focused chiropractic care to the Coastside community.
Built on the principles of intentional adaptation and long-term resilience, the practice emphasizes comprehensive, one-on-one sessions designed to improve alignment, coordination, and load tolerance — not just reduce symptoms.
Central to this approach is Motor Program Retraining (MPR): a method of restoring efficient movement patterns by integrating spinal adjustments with guided neuromuscular re-education. Using principles drawn from proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), post-isometric relaxation (PIR), and coordinated agonist–antagonist muscle engagement, care focuses on retraining how the nervous system organizes movement — not just mobilizing joints in isolation.
Rather than chasing tight muscles or painful regions alone, treatment addresses the communication between brain, joint, and muscle. Every visit is structured to build capacity, reinforce durable movement patterns, and support sustainable progress.
Located in Half Moon Bay, Encourage Chiropractic serves individuals seeking thoughtful, collaborative care rooted in clarity and purpose.
Meet Dr. Jeremiah Kloss
Dr. Jeremiah Kloss founded Encourage Chiropractic with a commitment to structured, movement-driven care. His approach integrates spinal and extremity adjustments with Motor Program Retraining (MPR), neuromuscular re-education, and coordinated strength progression to restore efficient, resilient movement.
Drawing from principles of adaptive physiology and movement science, Dr. Kloss focuses on how the nervous system organizes muscle activity under load. Rather than treating pain in isolation, he evaluates how past injuries, habits, stressors, and training patterns shape current function — then directs change intentionally.
He believes effective care is collaborative. Clinical expertise provides direction; patient engagement drives progress. The goal is not dependency, but durability — helping individuals move confidently and remain capable in the demands of everyday life.
