Dr. J's style of care is thorough and seeks to understand your lifestyle and habits, often referred to as "environment." We adapt to our environment in a constant subconscious pursuit of efficiency. These adaptations can be beneficial toward longevity. However, some adaptations are meant to be temporary, sort of like stubbing one's toe, then hobbling around non-weight bearing on that foot. Left unaddressed and allowed to continue dysfunctionally, these functional-now-dysfunctional (FnD) pattern adaptations can lead to discomfort, challenged movement, pain, inury, anxiety, depression, lethargy, sleep apnea, headaches, and many others.

Dr. J is skilled at assessing daily activities, demands, and constraints that factor in to your overall current state of health. By identifying and assessing these Functional-now-Dysfunctional (FnD) patterns, addressing hyper/hypo-mobility, and retraining new Functional patterns based on your daily demands and personal goals.
